Robert Schmitz forwarding maintains its own railway system with railway siding to Hagen main station which is less than 2 miles away from the site. With our diesel locomotive we are able to handle freight trains up to 1,200 tons. Special equipment guarantees a reliable and safe transport:

• Trucks with integrated coil hutches
• Concentrated load of up to 33 tons
• Trucks with special support for steel strips and easy damageable strips
• Trucks with Joloda-trackage and fixation for lengthwise loading of paper rolls
• Trucks with permanent transport permit for long vehicles of up to 17m and a width of up to 3m
• Container-Chassis for all sizes of overseas containers
